Big Book News for Beth Kanter and Jesse Wiley — and ME!
Posted by Allison Fine on May 4, 2009
I have very exciting book news! Beth Kanter and I have a contract with our friends at Jossey-Bass/Wiley & Sons for a book to be published early next year. A book . . . with Beth . . .and Jesse Wiley (seventh generation of Wiley’s to help manage the company that just celebrated its Bicentennial – wow!!) . . .what could be better?
Our book will help social change managers switch lenses from managing organizations to managing social networks. Social change happens through these networks, so learning how to grow, nurture, and manage them well is the key to success.
But, we’re going to need your help over the next few months! We’ll be asking you to point us to success stories, share your delicious tags, and even help us with a clear (Wiley’s preference) catchy (our preference) title! So, stay turned, as we ask for your input and advice on key topics and thanks in advance for your help!
